Our Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) is proud to be a part of the Poshan Abhiyan, (Nation Wide Initiative - Govt. of India) an Initiative of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a drive against malnutrition. "Today, due to lack of awareness, both poor and rich families are affected by malnutrition. Hence based on the announcement of our Prime Minister, Month of September is observed as "Poshan Abhiyan" across the country,"

Motto:

1. நமது பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியின் முயற்சி : இந்த மாதம் செப்டம்பர் மாதமானது ஊட்டச்சத்து குறைபாடு மாதமாக அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது
2. ஊட்டச்சத்து குறைபாடுள்ள பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளுக்குஆதரவளிக்கும் முயற்சி
3. பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளுக்கான ஊட்ட  ச்சத்து குறைபாட்டிற்கு எதிரான போர்

Awareness of Malnutrition was created through the events like:

1. Kolam using Fruits and Vegetables
2. Dances
3. Healthy food awareness – Skit
4. Awareness speech by CDO
