Women empowerment cell (WEC) of our Institution organized Kayakalpa yoga for the benefit of students. The gathering was welcomed by Dr.S.Umamaheswari, WEC- coordinator, Professor/ Dept. of EEE. Our beloved principal Dr.M.Madheswaran felicitated the gathering. Overall 286 students have attended and got benefitted. Certificates from the World Community Service Center (WCSC) were issued to the participants.
About Kayakalpa Yoga
Kayakalpa yoga is one of the highly acclaimed yoga poses, which is practised to enhance the energy of life. Primary objectives of kayakalpa yoga poses include streamlining body mechanisms, slowing the natural ageing process and extending life span. The yoga form involves physical being along with the consciousness. Practice of kayakalpa helps to transform sexual energy into spiritual energy.
Objective of Kayakalpa
- Maintaining youthfulness and physical health
- Resisting and slowing down the aging process
- Postponing death until one reaches spiritual perfection

Outcome of the event:
1.Aswini Mudra is practiced through a simple yogic muscular contraction and relaxation technique by which the nerves are toned up.
2. Ojas Breathing is practiced through a simple breathing technique by which we can transmute sexual energy into spiritual energy.
3.Regular practice of kayakalpa helps to correct unhealthy habits and transforms lifestyle.
