Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) organized An Awareness program on "BLOOD DONATION" on 26-JUL''2017 with the intention to create awareness about the Importance, Benefits of donating blood & also the impact of it in the society.

Resource person was Dr.S.Ashok,Managing Director,Saravana Hospital,Ponnamapet,Salem-1.

The Program was intended to create awareness among the participants about; How far donating blood makes as individual to get strength also with some following Facts about,

• Blood Needs
• Blood supply
• Blood donation Process
• Blood and its components
• Donor Health Benefits
• Donor Compensation

The students were much interested in donating blood and the active participation made the day as most memorable one.
